Zeron 100 is an exceptionally duplex stainless steel alloy designed to withstand the most severe conditions. With outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking, excellent corrosion resistance in warm seawater environments, and unmatched pitting resistance, Zeron 100 is the alloy of choice for numerous applications requiring durability and reliability in harsh environments.
This highly alloyed duplex grade exhibits excellent resistance against chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking and sulfide-stress corrosion cracking in harsh gas conditions. With a PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) above 40, Zeron 100 offers superior resistance to pitting corrosion in seawater applications. It is also highly resistant to corrosion in various organic and inorganic acids, including sulfuric acid, due to its copper content.
